 Dr. Benabio is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is an associate physician at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego and a Volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of California San Diego . 

He is also a founding member of and the skin care expert for Livestrong.com. He also founded The Derm Blog which has had more than 1.5 million unique visitors. He is active in social networking and his @dermdoc account has 4,100 followers on Twitter and he has over 750 friends on Facebook.
