Never before has the public had so many techniques, devices, and aesthetic providers to help them look their best. And yet some might question the current health of aesthetic medicine given the plethora those who practice in this space and quality of their devices. A thorough critique of techniques, devices and aesthetic practices is in order.
The program consists of outstanding lecturers known for their skills not only in aesthetic medicine, but also in their ability to discuss their subjects in an energetic and compelling way.
All talks will be substantial in current content, brief, and pithy, allowing the majority of the time to be devoted to discussion. This is a conference for all who wish to learn and contribute.

Target AudienceDermatologists, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, and plastic surgeons.Learning Objectives Compare and contrast the use of lasers, lights, and other energy-based systems and how to use the device(s) tomaximize patient outcomes and safety. Be aware of the evidence-based medicine available regarding state-of-the-art technology for facial rejuvenationand body sculpting. Perform a facial aesthetic analysis and determine which surgical or nonsurgical procedures are appropriate for theimprovement of a patients appearance. Be familiar with the available strategies for managing scars and stratify patients to the most efficacious option. List and describe the injectable facial shaping agentscurrently available and discuss the appropriate uses for each. Evaluate and appropriately apply the recommendations of the expert panel regarding injectable facial shaping agents. Discuss with patients the treatment options available to them and establish that patients have clear and realisticexpectations for treatment outcomes. Evaluate the role of fat grafting and brow lifting in facial rejuvenation compared to nonsurgical alternatives. Explain the use of chemodenervation toxins for hyperhydrosis and facial aesthetic enhancement. Understand and manage possible complications of surgical aesthetic procedures and nonsurgical treatments.
