- Utilize the signs, symptoms, and epidemiology of certain interstitial lung diseases (ILD) to better recognize patients in need of specialty care.
- Employ a multidisciplinary care team approach for ILD to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide timely referral of patients with ILD to tertiary care to improve survival.
- Select appropriate pharmacologic therapy for patients with ILD.
- Communicate with patients with ILD and their caregivers to provide effective disease-state education.
Method of Participation
Participants should read the activity information, including the learning objectives and disclosure material. This online education is conducted within a simulation-based, technology platform using real-word clinical scenarios. You advance through the activity based on selections of distinct treatment and management choices. After you’ve ended the activity, to receive CME/CE credit, you must click the “Claim CME/CE Credits” button, and complete the online post-test and evaluation. Upon finishing and achieving a passing score on the post-test, you may request to receive your certificate of credit via email or print it out at that time.
